Subscription lesson rates:

• 30-minute weekly lessons: $32.50 each ($130 per month*)
• 45-minute weekly lessons: $45 each ($180 per month*)
• 60-minute weekly lessons: $57.50 each ($230 per month*)

*Monthly prices reflect an average of four lessons per calendar month. Some months the student may be scheduled for three or five lessons, and billing will be adjusted according to the number of lessons expected that month.

Subscription lessons are ideal for students who have a consistent schedule and are hoping to make long-term, consistent progress with their instrument.

Lessons are non-refundable and may not be exchanged for other goods or services at Moore Music Company. No refund will be issued for lessons missed by the student, nor will lesson payment be credited toward future lessons.

A flexible lesson package (flex package) offers a flexible scheduling alternative to the subscription program. Purchase a set of four 30, 45, or 60-minute flex lessons, then schedule lessons at your convenience based on your and your instructor's availability. After finishing the four lessons, you can choose to enroll for subscription billing or purchase another flex package.

Flex lesson rates:

• 4 x 30-minute flex lessons: $40 each (total $160)
• 4 x 45-minute flex lessons: $50 each (total $200)
• 4 x 60-minute flex lessons: $65 each (total $260)

Flex lessons are ideal for students whose schedule is too inconsistent for weekly lessons, but they still want to keep up their skills! Flex lessons are also great for students who are looking for short-term lessons to prepare for a specific event, like an audition.

We offer lessons for piano, voice, guitar (all styles), ukulele, violin, viola, cello, bass (upright and electric), flute or piccolo, oboe or English horn, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone or euphonium, tuba, and percussion/drum set.

Lessons are 30, 45, or 60 minutes.

In-person lessons are held in the studios at Moore Music Company, located at 615 West Market Street, Greensboro, NC 27401.

Virtual lessons are held using an online platform mutually convenient to the student and instructor.

Subscription payments for lessons are processed automatically on the first of each month. Subscription students are required to have a payment method on file, no exceptions. Accepted payment methods include credit or debit card, and ACH bank draft.

Subscription students who wish to use a different payment method (cash, check, or card other than the one on file) must make their lesson payment in advance prior to the first of the month. Any students whose payments have not been received by the 1st will have lessons suspended until payment has been received.

It is the student’s responsibility to attend their reserved lesson time. Rescheduling opportunities are limited and therefore not guaranteed. No refund will be issued for lessons missed by the student, nor will lesson payment be credited toward future lessons.

When an instructor must miss a lesson, a qualified substitute will be provided, or the lesson will be rescheduled within 60 days.

The safety of our students, instructors, and staff is extremely important to us. If meeting for an in-person lesson would create unnecessary risk, we strongly recommend holding the lesson virtually instead.

Examples of situations that might create unnecessary risk:

• Snow or ice on the roads
• Tornado warning in effect
• The student or instructor has tested positive for, or is suspected to be positive for the flu or Covid-19. 

In the event that either the student or instructor is not feeling well enough for a lesson regardless of format, our policies for student/instructor cancellations apply.

The store will occasionally be closed for holidays throughout the year, including New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Christmas Day. No lessons will be scheduled on days the store is closed. In addition, the lesson studios take holiday breaks for the full week of Thanksgiving and two weeks for winter break.

Students and guardians will be informed of holiday closures in advance. Lesson payments will be prorated when the student's lesson day coincides with holidays or holiday breaks.

Any student who wishes to cancel their monthly subscription or specify a future end date for lessons must send written notice to lessons@mooremusiccompany.com by 11:59pm on the last day of the month. No refund or lesson credit will be issued for payment already received. Any pending makeup lessons will be forfeited upon discontinuation of lessons.
