Al and Patti Stephens, Owners

Al and Patti met in the summer of 1975 when they were both working at Greensboro's Eastern Music Festival, and are madly in love to this day. Of course they own a music store together--what else could they possibly do? Al has a background in oboe performance and insurance sales, while Patti studied piano and French. They have a passion for community and music education.

Dave Doyle, Band and Orchestra Specialist

Dave has been a member of the Moore Music Company team since 2000. He has played French Horn with the Greensboro Symphony for over 40 years, and was a member of an avant-garde improv group called the F-Art Ensemble in the 1980s, and again during their revival in the 2010s. A craft beer connoisseur, his biggest accomplishment is keeping all his hair.

Brian Blauch, Print Music Specialist

Brian holds degrees in clarinet performance from UNCG and Arizona State University. His performance career included 13 years playing for Broadway national tours, which took him in 49 US states, 6 Canadian provinces, and Brazil. He is internationally recognized for his ocarina collection and can rock a bolo tie like no other.

Addison Rose Kotulski, Director of Music Education and Community Outreach

Addison Rose Kotulski grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and holds degrees in Horn Performance from UNC Greensboro and Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. While in Seattle, she spent time touring with the punk group Basement Surfers and held principal positions in the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra and Helios Symphony Orchestra. In her free time, she spends her time doing watercolor paintings, cooking, gardening, and taking care of her two pet beetles.

Andrea Alcantar, Sales Associate

Andrea "Dre" Alcantar has been playing French horn since 6th grade and is currently pursuing a degree in music performance at UNCG. Among friends she is frequently sought out as a fashion consultant and occasional logo designer.
